Bath Game

Post by stevetelcom2000 »

I am going to the Bath game with the Bakers Arms Blaby. There is some spare places on the mini-bus, one with a match ticket if anyone is interested.

Bath v Leicester - No 9?

Post by tigermad »

Who is playing at 9 as the team sheet does indicate this? I know Scott replaced Harry Ellis for the Sale game. Any ideas guys?

Also why has Castro been dropped for White. White gives away too many pens and Castro had a great game on Sat and he gets repaid by being on the bench. GRRR.

Pat you've lost your marbles.

g must be one of the most negative people in the world

it's a really long season, a really tough game just played and who knows who has got what knocks last week and during the week. There is much that happens that we will never know, and therefore....

.....surely we should trust Pat to know best and not criticise EVERY decision??? :?:

Great to see Hamilton starting again. I really hope he gets a good first team run and we see his full potential being realised. Seems to me he always plays well and deserves to move further away from the fringes into first team certainty territory.

I thought Bemand played very well on Sunday, seemed very quick on his feet and had a good eye for sniping runs. Keep it up Scotty!!! :D

Actually I don't think it is a negative comment. I don't agree with squad rotation anyway so when a player who has played well one week gets dropped to the bench the next I have to question Howards reasoning. Also if Castro is not fit then he shouldn't be anywhere near the squad either. You don't play players who are not fit.

And I will question Pats decisions any time I like it is my right. And I don't give a monkeys do dahs if you don't like it.

Fair enough g but remember the rules. White sits on bench - comes off in second half to to give Castro a rest (and Shridan a lesson in srumaging!!!!) . Doesn't count as a game for White. White starts - Castro sits on bench - comes on in second half to replace white - doesn't count as a game for Castro.

Pat is just playing the rules.

The squad rotation seems to make sense, even this early in the season, to keep the players fresh for longer. Come the last few weeks of the season it will be crucial. Hopefully it will help the players stay clear of wear and tear injuries, which is particularly important for the front row. I'm sure Pat and his team of coaches know what they are doing.

Bemand definitely deserves his place. He was very good against Sale, and Harry should be made to compete for the 9 jersey.

It's also a big shame Tom Croft suffered his injury, hope he gets back ASAP.

Looks like Croft will be out for a month. It's a shame he did well on Sunday when he came on. Didn't the same thing happen last season? Managed to get himself into the first team and then got injured. Hope he isn'r accident prone.
