Pete Docherty

Post by Dave W »

See Mr Docherty got away with a prison sentence today then! Now there's a message to us all - get arrested weekly for carrying class A drugs and for being totally smashed out your head on cocaine and smack and hey guess what - you will get off with it as the judge was "impressed" by his efforts and for his latest single!

Let's be honest, if it was you or I - we would clearly be doing a stretch in prison but if you are a celebrity then offer an autograph and you get off with it - quality!

Another famous person gets away with it, the judge was obviously a fan, because if it were you or i we woiuldn't have been in court today, we'd have been out in prison ages and ages ago!

lock up the drug induced muppet and throw away the key, it's only because he's a cleb, and he's not very good at that to say he's a musician is laughable

I agree it's a joke but I don't think it's anything to do with him being 'famous'. This sort of thing is routine.

UK needs too more prisons urgently but the govt don't wish to build them. So the answer is not to lock people up, or if you do, let them out early.

Absolute madness.

i always thought he was a complete waste of space, until i saw him on jonathan ross and he was actually lovely. very intelligent and nice. and i think he is a great musician, he has some fantastic songs.

ya there isnt a c, because the name isnt supposed to have a c sound. its an irish name and just pronounced doherty, no c.

Now of course if this was really footy and not just lame punnery (which I'm good at) I'd have scuffed the tap-in hopelessly wide and then stood there with my hands in my head contemplating retiring whilst the defender jogged up to me and smugly patted me on the back.
