Did anyone else notice that the new tigers head seemed to be falling off (or at the least very wobbly) everytime that he took a step !

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what us grown-ups think does it !!?.....its for the kids...and my kid gave the big thumbs-down for that pathetic excuse for a big cat that was moving about as fast as Bob Marley live on stage !! At least JT and Welford had some sort of personality, which was good - my son says !!!

Brilliant or pointless? YOU decide!

Just searched the Tigers website and I can find no reference at all to the abduction of JT and Welford nor any information as to who or what this imposter cat is.

Surely the club must have made an official announcement about something as serious as this but I have seen nothing.

Can anyone enlighten me?

on a slightly different tack - I thought the reason we were Tigers was because of the Leicestershire Regiment and its history in Hindustan. In India. But the new mascot is, I think, a Siberian tiger. Is this an Abramovitch-style take-over?

yes, I know. I promise to get out more.

Don't like the new one - didn't like the old ones particularly either but at least they had personality.

Definitely BRING BACK LESTER! I used to go to college with his son - a tiger cub wandering around Leicester was hard to miss...

I can't find a pic of Tigerman as he used to be. And I'm sure you know what Welford and JT looked like!

Being Glaws fans we were completely ignored as the Tiger strolled around shaking people's hands.
If I was in a costume like that, Id be having sooooo much fun, prancing like a muppet and messing with fans of both teams.

Bah. They should have called him Braunstone and had him slouching around flicking the forks at the opposition fans.

I think they spell the new mascots name 'Leicester' now not like the original mascots name 'Lester' before Welford and JT. perhaps its because children where starting to spell the city's name wrong.
