Scott

Post by DCat »

Watching the cricket earlier and Durham have a player called Gary Scott, which got us arguing:

Who is worse - Barry Scott or Terry Scott?

Discuss.

I think Terry, but it is close. Why I say Terry is because he annoyed for the full half hour, whereas Barry just does the 20 seconds.

who on earth are Barry and Terry Scott?
Donncha O'Callaghan and Bruce Reihana are the best players that ever lived. Don't even bother to argue with me.

And - however good Imanol Harinordoquy is, he is still an idiot

You don't know who Barry Scott is

Go stand in the corner for 30 minutes :D

Barry Scott is that annoying bloke off the Cillit Bang Advert who shouts a lot - " HI I'M BARRY SCOTT......"

Terry Scott was probarbly most famous for a TV 'comedy' show in the 80's called Terry and June (June Whitfield......you know Ab Fab, and now trying to sell funerals) he was also in some of the carry on films.

'Terry and June' ..... watched by millions, fondly remembered by many ...... and yet was absolutely dreadful ! (IMO). Probably reminds people of a utopian, middle class surbubia that never really existed ?

Didn't Terry also do those Curly Wurly adverts ?

God, the Curly Wurly adverts! Man who must have been pushing his forties dressed up in Just William outfit with hooped cap - probably accounts for my preference for Texan bars. Probably recycling the outfit from that song he did - "My Bruvver". Now that was a pile of dogs' eggs.

Barry doesn't even come close.

You're right Gate, this isn't a contest, its a massacre ! Terry wins hands down.

Re 'Terry and June', I once heard it said that you were either a Bless This House (Sid James) fan or a 'T & J' (Terry Scott) fan. Terry & June being the new kids on the block, as it started a couple of years after (I think) 'BTH' finished.

We were definitely a Sid James house
A sad loss.

Terry Scott was also the voice of Penfold from DangerMouse - that makes him cool.
