Ben Clarke???? Was often near the point of action but rarely did any damage.

I guess Simon ain't demostrating any strenrths in this selection!

I can only think that Shaw is having a bit of a laugh. Some good players (e.g. Teague, Howley and the centres), but overall a very odd selection. Van Giz at 15 ? Astonishing !

Re Rob Andrew ...... he was also picked by Bill McLaren in his 'all time' XV :shock:
These guys just seem to love our new supremo.

reihana is no slouch wherever you put him in the back line but, sheesh, to pick him at 14 instead of 15 :roll:

still it is only a matter of personal opinion and shaw is entitled to his. on the same lines, we are all allowed to make mistakes
