I thought i was going to have to tell Sim off for getting in here first but yay sussex won!! :D :D :D
after their pretty awful batting i was thinking to myself yet another of the teams i support are going to lose in the final :roll: but we pulled through! wooo!!!
As a HUGE Lancashire fan....I am gutted....the top order batting wasn't good enough and we should have won chasing 170 odd....I just hope the boys can pull themselves together and win the Championship for the first time in ages and ages. :(
Don't worry, when I started supporting them in the early 1970s....Lancashire were the one-day kings...they were pretty formidable.....I would have swapped a loss today for the championship title.....fingers crossed !
Yeh i thought about it hannah but as a worcester fan (cricket) i thought although today i was supporting Sussex i couldn't be bothered to start a thread so i left it, but well done Suss!

i am also a huge Lancashire fan, i echo your sentiments. watched a lot of the sussex innings, and was quite hopeful, but then i had to go to wales for some random party and listened to it on the radio, and it sounded pretty dismal.
Donncha O'Callaghan and Bruce Reihana are the best players that ever lived. Don't even bother to argue with me.
And - however good Imanol Harinordoquy is, he is still an idiot
