Ok guys, are you managing it? In my hot little office I have three fans going full pelt and my thermometer's reading 28.3.

We spent our lunchtime sitting outside a pub drinking Stella and watching the girls go by.

It was boiling hot, but who cares? :D :D :D

I hate to brag folks but I'm working in a lovely fully air conditioned office. Outside is a different matter and I'm struggling a bit but I never thought I'd be glad to come to work.

I've got an air con unit in Reception with me and my boss has brought ice cubes in for our drinks (I love my bosses). I'm going swimming tonight at the local outdoor pool and then to the pub for a pint of extra cold Guinness. I love Summer!! 8)

My little shed/office is boiling late pm, so I down tools about 3 and go to the beach or lie in the garden for a couple of hours. Having said that it has just started to sprinkle with rain here. Have been cutting chunks of hair off the dog as he's struggling in the heat. He looks like that kid off the yellow pages advert, but he's a lot happier!

Swimming in the pool, going to the beach, you ladies have it sorted.

Me? I'm going to play football inside a sweltering leisure centre and lose about 8 kilos of body fluid.

But that's because I'm a twit.

Good lad. I have a large fan in my top floorflat. I think I'd have died this week without it, that and alcohol to help me sleep (for medicinal purposes only).

have been quite cool today, we dont have air con but the lab has been strangely cool. the extraction fans in the fume cupbaords pulled a nice breeze through which was rather nice!

makes it all the worse when you finally do go outside though, i nearly died when the sun hit me leaving work this afternoon........then i got to sit next to a smelly man on the bus home
has anybody seen the plot........i seem to have lost it!!

We had a massive power cut in Bridgnorth today so no fans were working and the bug sstem that pumps air in and suck air out wasn't working at school, it was horrible and all the shops were down so there was no air con anywhere etc.

Some clever workman cut straight through THE main wire of electricity for all the shops and our school, Well done that man.
great service....great idea (cheers Mr Branson)
