Great choice.

One of the few of my choices which actually made it into one of our musicals.

Only thing is, I had to play it and realised how terrible my guitar playing is compared to Paul Weller's!

Today it is

"Whole lot of Rosie" - AC/DC
That's a top song TS, along with any AC/DC song sung by Bon Scott.

My favourite song is "The Spirit of Radio" by Rush - classic heaven or Lynyrd Skynyrd "Freebird", still love it to bits. And I've always loved "Gypsy" by Fleetwood Mac and about 4,000 other fantastic rock songs. :P

I think there is no such thing as a best song ever given differing tastes. My favourite song of all time though is an opinion I often change, but often comes down to Where Is My Mind by the Pixies.

Everything about the The Spirit of Radio is fantastic, the lyrics, the atmosphere....

And it's great fun to play on guitar.

But I'm sticking with Peter Green's Man Of The World.

Who'd have thought Fleetwood Mac would ever evolve into such a mainstream band after that?

Can you remember "Telephone man" by Meri Wilson? I loved it but I was very young at the time!! Here's the first verse lyrics.

I rented my apartment on a Monday at one
Singin' doo-lolly-lolly, shakey-bum, shakey-bum
Started movin' in it on a Tuesday at two
Singin' doo-lolly-lolly, shakey-doo, shakey-doo
Wednesday at three I called the phone company
Singin' hey baby, put a phone in for me
Thursday at four he came a-knockin' at my door
Singin' "Hey baby, I'm your telephone man
You just show me where you want it
And I'll put it where I can
I can put it in the bedroom
I can put it in the hall
I can put it in the bathroom
I can hang it on the wall
You can have it with a buzz
You can have it with a ring
And if you really want it
You can have a ding-a-ling
Because, hey baby, I'm your telephone man"

he he, that's made me laugh...... :D

I'm sinking into that musical abyss:

The "Evening Do" after a wedding.

Hi Ho Silver Lining
Come On Eileen
Agadoo
YMCA
Lady In Red

I really hope this has turned into worst song ever

woke up this morning and my mama was gone
cooee chirpy chirpy cheep cheep

Wow that takes me back. I can still picture Pan's People doing the woeful dance.

Right now it's Pearl Jam, Alive - or EvenFlow, love the rhythm of Evenflow, love the yelling in Alive...summer with the top down songs.
Don't mess with The Mothers!
