Post by DCat »

OK, as a knock-on from the Favourite Films thread, favourite baddie - human or otherwise.

Darth Vader
Wily Coyote (he makes I larf)
The Master (Dr Who, 1st time round)

That's a start

I have the same baddies too. Will try to think of others.

Infamous baddies for me were the Daleks. I used to hide when they came on Doctor Who!!

it was Davros that did for me, simon! Him and the Cybermen - because back in those days the Daleks couldn't climb stairs  And what about The Master?!

Davy Jones in Pirates 2 was pretty good as a baddie - but I think Barbossa was worse.

And I remembered another one. The divine Alan Rickman - as both The Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (rather Alan R than Kevin Costner any day) and also as Snape in the Harry Potter films.

Another infamous baddie that I have seen recently is the Opus Dei priest in the Da Vinci Code. He was a pretty horrible character.

Nothing like the above but a rogue all the same. Boycie from Only Fools and Horses. For me he was a likeable baddie or rogue. And there has been a spin-off series ie the Green Green Grass.
