Zidane

Post by DCat »

OK, somebody had to start this thread.

What on earth did he think he was doing?

Having said that, well done Italy!

I agree with you there. Disgraceful and unwarranted actions from Zidane and he cost France any chance of glory in the end. He also tarnished his reputation.

Well done to Italy. I think they were better then France overall in this World Cup and possibly the best team overall. Didn't they take their penalties well!! And they deserve it after all those recent near misses. Its a shame that it couldn't have been decided in full time. After Zidane's madness, their was poetic justice in Italy winning.

Also, the very fact that the French fans couldn't recognise Zidane's stupidity and booed the Italians thereafter show their lack of appreciation of what went on and own immorality and attitude.

According to the radio this morning, if you were in the stadium and watching the game, you wouldn't have seen the incident. After all, the referee and both linesmen missed it and it was only when the 4th and 5th officials were alerted to a TV replay that the ref was advised of what had happened.

Hence the attitude of the French fans, most of whom hadn't a clue what had gone on.

As for why? I guess the Italian player must have said something. Easy to condemn Zidane but until we know what was said, I won't be casting the first stone.

Aparently lip-readers have made out that Marco was saying "Ha ha ha! You are a failure! I've played for Everton and you never will now. I can die a happy man 'cause I've achieved the ultimate zenith of being part of the People's Club whereas you will now just be left dissappointed and unfulfilled....plus you've gone bald in a really odd way"

It was just too much for Zidane!

What you mean is that several vehicles in Chester are now resting on bricks whilst their expensive alloys have crossed the border to Merseyside.

I was shocked and disappointed. Its such a shame that a player of his calibre ended his international career on such a low point. I was a big fan of his, but now my opinion of him is very much lowered.
Donncha O'Callaghan and Bruce Reihana are the best players that ever lived. Don't even bother to argue with me.

And - however good Imanol Harinordoquy is, he is still an idiot

Make sure you get the optional extras sorted...you will really feel the benefits from the pastie heater, scrumpy cooler & banjo storage box.

Ideally I would also like about 140 seagulls to follow it.

Where do I get them from?

Hahaha! supoib!

Probably the same place you get the anti-turbo charger that decelerates your tractor to 0.0000000001 mph as soon as it gets to a busy single lane public road.

Well we've come a long way from Zidane, but whilst we're at it....

That brilliant bit of dual carriageway called the A46 which connects the old Fosse Way at the Hobby Horse Island through to the M1/M69.

Built at great expense and can shortern journey times by at least 30 minutes.

So why fo blankety-blank tractors have to use it, clogging everything up and causing humungous tail backs as everyone moves to the congested outside lane to get past the damned things.

Presumably these tractors used to get from A to B before this new road was built, so why can't they continue on their old route? Do they need the extra lanes to go faster?

Ban them!
