Thanks for the reminder Gate - they don't look nearly as nice in the fullness of time, do they?

Was thinking of you the other day as I walked past a McMullens pub. As I was on the way to the theatre and it was far too hot, I didn't think a drop was a good idea.

Depends what you were going to see. Last time I went to the theatre, it was Joan Collins in Private Lives, and the proceedings would have been vastly improved by some McMullens. Probably even by the aftermath as well. I had a pint of AK the other day - damn nice.

Which reminds me that the Great British Beer Festival can only be a month away. Rock on!

Back on topic - Cow and Chicken.

We were going to watch 'Donkeys Years' - very funny, & all good, established actors. Great little theatre, the Comedy Theatre, as well.

Cow & chicken was a very strange cartoon.

Cow and Chicken - great call. I still think of 'cousin boneless' when I go to KFC. Never really got the 'I am Weasel' stuff though.

Who was that 'Johnny' character with the hair and shades that was around at the same time ?

Which brings me to think:

Are we restricted to TV cartoons or can we include printed matter?

In which case from Viz:

Sid The Sexist

and

Cockney W'nker (Cor blimey, the Queen Mum, bless her, she won the war for us, she did. The Krays? Naffing wrong wiv them, they only murdered their own.)
