Peregrines

Post by CJ »

In case you’d missed it, there are peregrine falcons nesting on top of Leicester Cathedral and you can follow progress on www.leicesterperegrines.org.uk

It is strangely addictive even though precious little happens at the moment. In fact, so little happens that you might think the camera has gone wrong, but look closely and you can see the sitting bird breathing. The clock in the top left corner is a bit of a clue as well. But once the eggs hatch, it’ll be fun. I think that will be around 27th. But I can’t remember when the first egg was laid - incubation 32 days.

With no rugby to watch it serves as my connection to my home city.

It’s full frontal porn!

Actually, a full description of the birds activities, which is kept up to date. Definitely one for the ornithologists.

Great thread, thanks for posting it.
Valhalla I am coming!
