Relocating to the Midlands!

Hi guys,

There is a strong change that I might finally be moving to the midlands from London, which is down to a number of factors not just my love of Tigers...

Can anyone recommend (or warn off) certain areas? Birmingham is a strong contender because my wife's family originates from Sutton Colfield and Sheldon, but would be good to hear of other areas that are contenders.
