Good post match option

Post by MrPartridge »

Just to note that anyone wanting something different to Rock Bottom (literally) playing their cemented geriatric set list in the bar after every game might enjoy the Bricklayers Arms on Welford Rd. They've just introduced a new DJ after games playing a good mix of 80s, soul, funk, Motown, etc. And the beer is cheaper and better. And there are more TVs to keep track of whatever is on...

Does it attract opposition supporters? Tbh, the only benefit to staying at the ground is being able to chat with 'rival'/fellow rugby fans as far as I'm concerned.
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO
