Failing leaders
Ashley says if he keeps "failing he will go" Good to see that even a person as profit orientated as Ashley (and virtually unmovable) will accept his failings. Are there any people in the rugby business willing to follow suit? Not at this club. Just asking.
Re: Failing leaders
Not quite a realistic comparison.
If you are the majority shareholder you effectively can rule the company and what you say in public to appease the press is almost irrelevant.
The Tigers coaching staff are ultimately answerable to the board and have the same employment rights as others. Sacking someone isn't easy - failing to with the league isn't misconduct and the usual way is to pay them to resign if the board feel someone else could do a better job.

Isn't this more a Chit Chat subject rather than Fans Forum. A tenuous link re rugby?

Why didn't you just say "Sack Cockers", instead of this long winded stuff? And if you're not having a go at Cockers, kindly elaborate.SIBARITE wrote:Ashley says if he keeps "failing he will go" Good to see that even a person as profit orientated as Ashley (and virtually unmovable) will accept his failings.
