Treviso vs Venice prices

Post by byrontiger »

I'm sure that some of you may have wandered into Venice in addition to the game (maybe requested by your other half!)
I would be very grateful if you could give me an idea of the price difference between the two towns for essentials like birra as I've heard Venice is very expensive............ :smt009 oh an sandwich panini ect

TIA :smt001

Overall, I have found Venice to be a bit more expensive than Treviso. However, having said that, it all depends where you go for your pint and panino. We usually walk a few blocks off the tourist trail and find the prices drop quite considerably.

I agree...once you get over the Rialto Bridge in Venice, prices do come down. Treviso is a cosmopolitan town, so can also be expensive in places, but will be cheaper than piazza san marco! Best get off the tourist trail if you want to eat/drink cheaply.
