Can anyone recommend Indian Restaurants in Leicester please? A friend's friend is coming up this way soon and is looking for somewhere to eat. We don't eat Indian food so can't help.

Taj Mahal on Highfields St. Not too far from Welford Rd and Marquis of Wellington is on the way for a quick pint or two

I second the Taj Mahal - when we go for curry we always go there. (have often seen Tigers players in there too).

If you're in the South of the county, Swatlands in Oadby or the Leeja Palace are both quite good.
