So how does this tightening our belts bit work again,we're all in this together.Is it the Ferrari owners club who votes for our politicians?

The problem is that as we little Renault drivers and Fiat drivers get more and more desperate for work then the rich Ferrari drivers are able to hire us more cheaply, ask us to do more, and hence get even richer than before.

You would expect democracy to address this, but it cannot.
