Any good curry houses in York?
I've a stag bash to attend in York next month. Does anyone have some local knowledge or personal experience of good curry houses in the city?
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

My wife's family live just outside York and often use Mumbai Lounge.I have never used it myself but they are funny sods and wouldn't go unless the food was good! Not sure if suitable for 'stags night' but worth ringing??

Thanks for that me duck, it looks promising.
There'll only be 10 in our party and we're 'slightly' older than the usual stag groups (the groom is 47). I don't think we'd cause them too much trouble.

Thanks but, looking at the photographs on the link, I can guarantee we won't be going to any places like that. I've drawn up a list of approximately a dozen restaurants so I'm sure we'll find somewhere to eat.kpbates wrote:Then perhaps a few in here.... http://www.thedoorguy.co.uk/product_inf ... cts_id/967
