Yuletide greetings

Post by Rizzo »

No, not Christmas ones (yet) - Yule. Or Saturnalia if you prefer :smt002

May the return of the light and brightness bring hope and warmth to your home and your hearth. Merry meet, forum friends :partyman: :partyman:

And pagan greetings to you too - I do hope you follow the ancient form of Yule as described in the Ynglinga saga and drink ale continuously for three days! (Not just hot chocolate). :drinkers:

He marks - not that you won or lost - but how you played the Game."

Well, technically it should be cakes and ale, although in my house there's a choice of mulled wine or spiced cranberry juice, and cinnamon biscuits or ginger cake.

I did make wassail cup one year but no one liked it :smt005
