Oh dear. As though the logo wasn't bad enough. The man interviewed on the BBC (clearly a candidate for pseuds corner) said the blue swirl represented a swimmer and the parallel lines represented people in lanes.

I had to check it wasnt April 1st.
It was painted by Henry Hodgkins. I can only assume Henry has just had his third birthday. Fortunately there will be a city boy who will set a a world record price after the games when he buys it.

Love them all, the only thing that annoys me slightly is that the olympic rings in the one with the legs aren't jiggling about like the feet are juggling them. But in a way that makes it even better, because you can imagine they are. Really like the blue swirl one, and the coffee cup stains one. Genius.
