Re: Does anyone like the Olympic logo yet?
I think the logo will be quickly forgotten as is pretty dire, then again I have the artistic knowledge of a house plant and am probabley missing something. Doesn't help that I think the Olympics is a spectacular waste of money and has been put together by a load of civil servants with nothing better to do than blow a gigantic amount of money on whatever elaborate :censored: they can find.
I think of all the massive cuts to the military and the police force and it's all people who work hard to make our lives better and instead on investing in them London is getting a stupidly big swimming pool half of which is only temporary because there's no sodding point in it after the Olympics. Add to that the pointless arguement over the stadium which will be rarely if ever used for it's intended purpose once the Olympics are over and is to be flogged off on the cheap at the earliest opportunity.

Oh..and there was me getting quite excited
It's important every now and then to chuck money at things that may seem a bit risky and dumb. That's how I get my salary

No way would I say that you are dumb CT, you support/follow Tigers and let your voice be heard.
as for 'risky', that's part of being a supporter and to be honest there's not too much of a risk following the Tigers, and as 'Tony from the long ago advertisement would say ...." they're Great!"
On the subject of the logo... it could've been better.

I may be in a minority of one, but I quite like it now. Didn't at first but I've got a couple of t-shirts with it on and they are super. I personally think it looks best with the union flag on it rather than single colour.

I think we should just replace the stupid logo with a picture of Jessica Ennis.

Even more pervs courtesy of Rizzo. On this site:

someone has pointed out that the logo looks rather like Liza Simpson and ...um a chap. I do not wish to say anything more explicit for fear of frightening the horses.

My horses are currently being frightened by the remnants of that hurricane which is blowing humungous bits of trees across their paddocks!
However, I do agree that once someone has pointed out that the logo resembles someone delivering a lovely favour to their partner, it's difficult to think of anything else.
