I think it would make traffic policing a lot more rewarding if, instead of breath testing women, you gave them a breast test.

Women who could show a clean inter-bosom gap had clearly not been drinking and would be allowed on their way. Those whose whammers were storing an absolute larder of spilt wine, crisps, peanuts, olives and pork scratchings would be suspected of being out on the lash and would need to take the more advanced Belly Button & Bush Test.

They started it, Miss!

By the way, coming back to the topic, if I was a shareholder in a drinks manufacturer I would sue the a**es off all the people who come up with such ridiculous half-baked conclusions.

1) A sample of 100 is pathetic.
2) It takes no account of the differences that already exist in students who like to go drinking versus those serious souls who don't. This is schoolboy stats and they haven't even done it.
3) They haven't tracked the people through several years of development. A proper drugs testing company would be horrified at this shoddy "research".
4) The conclusion they claim just cannot be made. It's all horribly presumptive.

Almost the only time that people are allowed to misuse statistics is when they are fighting against alcohol abuse or in favour of social equality. Both are worthy causes, but not helped when they rely on clearly biased use of statistics.
