I think we should have a re-run of the dinner party guest theme in terms of how to stock the drinks cabinet.
Now Rory and Jimi, Winston Churchill, Julian White...
That's a party I'd want to be at.

How about Manuel as the waiter?

Re: Dinner Party Guests:-
I think the dinner party, in my case, would take place at Hotel Babylon.

And for the menu:
Starter: Grilled tomatoes on toast with a selection of brown sauces. Champagne supplied by Winnie.
Main Course: Hung, matured Irish beef fillet steaks to be supplied by Rory Gallagher from somewhere around Ballyshannon. Chateau Neuf Du Pape.
Veggie /vegan option would be absolute top notch jacket spuds with homegrown beetroot, radishes, walnuts, apple, pear and a biting horseradish sauce (not for puffs).
Pudding: Very rich moist chocolate cake with fresh strawberries, chocolate sauce, raspberries, chocolate, banana and chocolate. A naturally sweet French wine, again leaving it up to Churchill to choose.
Cheese: Plenty of blue Stilton and extremely mature Cheddar with some Brie for the ladies. Any old port. It's all good.
Coffee. Strong, black with quite a lot of Jameson Whisky, or perhaps Hendrix would prefer Jack Daniels.
After dinner speaker, Victoria Wood, providing she has a piano and sings that song that goes:
No Cautions
Just contortions
Smear an avacado on me lower portions....

Like the menu, apart from the starter. Would probably prefer a selection of mushrooms, done in butter and garlic.
The horseradish would probably be out of my league as well.
