And from Twitter - a guy who is quite amusing to follow -
"Its_Death
Leicester City Council are unprepared for a zombie invasion. I've been there. Too late."

I love It's Death! I think you must have recommended him to me before, Rizzo? He really cheers up my day, brilliant.

Im just waiting for the sarky comments from my Dad. Every time I go home he makes hilarious comments (not) like 'we have running water and electricity here you know - this isnt Leicestershire!'
Yes, but we have zombies.. who needs electricity when you've got contingency plans for a zombie attack

We're much more switched on in East Yorkshire.
I don't know if our councils are prepared for zombies, but they are prepared for a more hideous danger. Kites.
Kites are now banned from resorts all along the East Yorks coast line for H&S reasons. I.e. one might crash into someone's nut.
Withernsea, Hornsea and Bridlington have all applied the ban.
A spokesman from Bridlington admitted under questioning that their last "kite related accident" was recorded in 1951.
And of course, whilst our old people are left to rot and die, schools are ill equipped and people have terrible crashes on un-gritted roads, money has been found for inspectors to police the kite ban.

I understand that (red) kites have been introduced along the M40 corridor.Kinoulton wrote:I don't know if our councils are prepared for zombies, but they are prepared for a more hideous danger. Kites.

Causing quite a probem apparently.
Still keeping the faith!

Saw that article on the beeb the other day. If humans didn't put food out for them, they would be able to live alongside suburban areas without being threatened again.
Saw something the other day about boars over-running Australia. Will leave that comment open for replies......

Pam has alerted me. I see they have attacked the city centre. Great footage of embarrassed blokes in make-up not entirely sure how to shamble like zombies and blushing a bit.

Were they ex-pat Welsh zombies from Cosby?cornish tigress wrote:Pam has alerted me.
My understanding was they were gazing into the council offices to catch sight of local government employees working.
The outcome is unclear!!

Pam has her finger on the pulse. Unfortunately I am not entirely sure that zombies have pulses...and I am not entirely convinced council workers do either. Pam will keep us informed...Over to our Welsh desk

I think between us CT we may have upset:
The entire Welsh nation (or are they a principality);
All the inhabitants of Cosby;
All local government employees.
Hey ho!
