Hi all,
Just wondered if any of you had been up to Beaumont Park yet to watch the Speedway???
£15 for adults,
£13 for Older/ retired ones.
£5 for those 10 to 16 and under 10's are free!!!
£30 for 2 adults and 2 children (if there obviously over 10!).
£2.50 a programme and all for 15 races, taken around 5 minutes a race with a couple of minutes in between.
Great fun, have taken my 8 year old last few Saturdays and he's enjoyed the 2 hours of racing.
Plenty more racing going on over the summer starts around 7.30pm finishes around 9.30pm, depending on the sun blindness on the back straight.
Anyway small band of Tigers fans building up and a good old discussing about the Tigers, cup final et al.
PS i don't work for Leicester Lions-honest, but a Standing Tigers supporter for 22 years, oh and a petrol head!
Just love the smell of four stroke in the morning....queue the music................

Leicester Lions Speedway
And on the 7th day, god rested, he stood patiently and awaited the green light to start the game from SKY!
Re: Leicester Lions Speedway
Speedway is another sport that is good for families. Fans can mix and chat without getting nasty. It's a great night out. Unfortunately we lost our speedway team in Oxford a few seasons ago but it's encoraging to see the Lions back in action after so long out of the sport.
If you've never been to Speedway and you're stuck for something to do during the summer give it a try
