Because I do like Adrian Chiles, though I think he's gone on the wrong career path.
Anyway, I like a 15 minute dose of news in the morning and I don't care which channel it comes from. But I think Daybreak has finally turned me off for good.
I can't stand Sky either. Having the screen cluttered with bottom panels, side panels, inserts and random captions is very passe and just plain irritating.
BBC is emerging as the best TV programme for morning news without actually having to do anything different!

Well there you go then. BBC reported on McIlroy's charge up the leader board, Westwood's nightmare, England's rain-disrupted clattering of Sril Lankan wickets, McLeish's imminent appointment at Villa in the face of massive protests, a crackdown on sectarianist songs and chants at old firm games and many other footie events...
No rugby for once, but that's largely because nowt's happening.
