Could we stick to discussing the topic - if it's necessary to continue this?

Here we go.

I've been expecting it.

Strange how many other threads are allowed to go off topic for pages.

I've spent a lifetime around those with a 'little bit of power'.

Pathetic. The first barb came from fellow leftie S+M but of course that's OK.

Bye. I'm off on me bike under a train. :smt039

On this thread yes, and I was pretty petulant about it, yes. But that doesn't take into consideration the snide comments coming from your head on other threads. I honestly thought you were just bigoted but getting truculent just because somebody has told you what to do makes you pretty cantankerous too- why act whiter than white and why kick up a fuss when told to stay on topic, just get on with it.

If people have objections about other threads going off topic - drop one of the moderators a PM and bring it to our attention.

There is an increasing amount of personal sniping and backbiting between users that really isn't necessary - discussion can be carried out without rudeness or insult...and it should be.

Staying on topic here - some cyclists are bad and do annoying things. Some cyclists do not. Some drivers are equally bad, others are not. :smt001

Kids on bikes can be awful.

I was driving behind two in a line coming out of Beverley yesterday.

The first one, quite alarmingly, suddenly swerved right across me and across the on-coming traffic to get to the opposite pavement. He didn't look, slow down, or indicate.

Sensing his mate behind might do the same, I did what was virtually an emergency stop. Sure enough, the other cyclist did the exact same thing, swerving across my path without looking or indicating.

Had I not have guessed right, I might have hit him side on at 30 mph.
Kicks and scrums and ruck and roll.....Is all my brain and body need!

All cyclists are idiots. All women drivers are useless All children should be shot, specially if riding a bike.

As I said, we cycle a lot.

This was meant to be a giggle, (as mentioned earlier).

I knew that it would be me rather than a darling who was told off like a child.

By the way I did cycle uner a train so this is Madoqua's ghost speaking.

Tunnels are not good.......no left or right.

Boring and uncontroversial so they suit our controllers.
