I repeat the advice I gave earlier. This will all end in tears.

Very possibly. However, what I was warning of was the publicity beforehand.

What publicity is that then? Is this thread going out live on BBC News or something?

If so, great. That Kate Silverton. Brains, personality and voluptuousness.

Worry not Old Hob! Us Muppets are wary of any kind of romantic involvement. Just look at the constant tension between Kermit and Miss Piggy - way too much like hard work! Fozzie and I have tried telling him, but hey, he's in love apparently, whaddya gonna do?

Me? I'm just too busy trying to get fired out of the cannon safely!

Now an alternative thread could be the non-human (i.e. cartoon) people we have lusted over.

Quite an odd concept, but Betty Boo, Penelope Pitstop, Lady Penelope (Thunderbirds), Dr Venus (Fireball XL5) etc.

The object of my young desires, rather bizzarrely, was Marina from Stingray. Given that she lived her life underwater, and I didn't, this would have been a challenging relationship.

She wasn't always underwater, Kinny, she was often in Marineville with Troy - hence the bit in the intro when they appear to be having a candlelit dinner.
A male friend of mine used to say Marina was an ideal date - pretty, but silent.
I did hit him for it though. :smt002

Reminds me of:

"I should have listened to my mother"
"Why, what did she say?"
"I don't know. I didn't listen."
