Help 4 Heroes bike ride, my friend is a star
My friend is doing a 400 mile charity bike ride for Help 4 Heroes in May, having just got back himself from a gruelling 6 months in Afghanistan. I know you guys are all so generous, please support him if you can or spread the word. Thanks so much.
I know it is the worst time in the world to ask, but just in case anyone has any pennies left it would go to a fantastic cause and by a fantastic guy.

Great effort.
I've already got the lasses up here contributing to Help For Heroes but I'll try to get some money diverted this way.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys, really appreciated. He is struggling to get sponsors as all his friends are military and already give in some way or another. That is SO nice of you, thanks

And on the 7th day, god rested, he stood patiently and awaited the green light to start the game from SKY!

Thanks Sherpa for the bump. He certainly could. His wife and kids have been washing cars like mad to bump up the funds!

Just donated, Alix.
Sorry it took so long to do this - and Col_B's sponsor thingy too - sadly have had some pretty big expenses in the last few weeks, but managed to do the sponsorship now.

You are wonderful, thank you so much from Mark. Thanks to you too Sherps and anyone else whose name I didn't recognise who has sponsored him. He has been quite bowled over by the response from people on this forum, as I was when I did mine. What a great bunch of people.

Re: Help 4 Heroes bike ride, my friend is a star
He's back, and wanted to pass on his thanks -
"The ride was great, the people better and we had a really challenging set of weather to make it more interesting. 3 car strikes, a few broken bones and many cuts and bruises later we all returned to UK better for the experience. It is fair to say I probably didn't train enough but when you are with such a huge crowd of people it is amazing how hard you can push yourself. Managed to raise just over £6500 and am really delighted so please pass on a really big thank you to all of your Forum friends who were magnificent donating to someone they had never met."
He was really very chuffed, so thank you SO much
