Do you think Dr Dennis Walsh is a relatively insignificant little man who is after some publicity?

Oh I so agree. There should be no anaesthesia for tooth extraction either, so you can come to terms with the loss of the tooth. The pain is the body's way of understanding the process and becoming a better toothless person.
What a load of twaddle.

Completely painless, unless you trap your thumb between the bricks.

My mother had six natural births - and some of the horror stories she has told me - anyway I'm sure the mums on here can relate.
Not sure what he is trying to gain here by spouting out all of this, so a woman who has a c-section or painkillers is less likey to bond with her sprogglet than women who don't PAH! what a pile of dog s?%$

This bonding mullarkey is a load of hogwash anyway.
I was made to attend the birth of my two daughters.
I just felt squeamish, I was getting in the way of medical professionals trying to do their jobs, and the first sight I had of my children was rather unpleasant.
I bonded with them perfectly well, but no thanks to having gone through that trauma.
I do tend to agree though, that if it was the male that had to give birth, then by now it would have been made painless.

Now you're just pandering to the female myth of painful chilbirth, I think you'll find it's just like having a large no.2 hence the saying "giving birth to Bernard"!!Kinoulton wrote:I do tend to agree though, that if it was the male that had to give birth, then by now it would have been made painless.
Oh by the way, Hello - I haven't been on here for a while (and probably won't be welcome back now).

I'm not surprised you haven't been here for a while if your number 2's are as big as a babies head!
