I'm guessing a bit but the yellow jersey is the overall leader in the Tour De France.

The green jersey is for the leader on points.

The polka dot jersey is the "King of the Mountains".

And my guess would be that Eddy Merckx might have won all three as I don't thing mountains were Lance Armstrong's speciality.

Indeed it is. Eddy Merchx won all three in the same tour in 1969. and if the white jersey for the best placed young rider had existed he would have won that too!!

"The jersey of red peas"? Sounds like something you'd award to the rider with the worst cystitis.

Or the jersey of red plums for the rider with the most uncomfortable saddle.

OK, here is a list of 36 states of America, each with a number by it's name.

There is a good reason why some states don't appear on this list.

What's the number?

California 678 S. Carolina 63 Connecticut 10
Florida 402 Mississippi 62 Kansas 10
Texas 358 U.S. Gov't 55 Utah 10
Penn. 226 Missouri 52 Washington 9
Alabama 207 Arkansas 42 U.S. Military 9
Ohio 181 Kentucky 36 Maryland 5
N. Carolina 167 Oregon 35 South Dakota 3
Arizona 129 Delaware 20 Colorado 3
Georgia 109 Virginia 18 Montana 2
Tennessee 92 Idaho 18 New Mexico 2
Oklahoma 86 Indiana 17 Wyoming 1
Louisiana 84 Illinois 15 New Hampshire 1

Is it something to do with the death penalty? How many have died by electric chair, lethal injection, poison gas? Or how many are on death row

I'll give you the points! It is how many people are on death row in each of thise states.

Quite shocking really. The process takes so long that one old giffer was executed for a crime he committed in 1977. By the time they did him, he didn't know who he was, let alone what he'd done.
