Hello loopylass and welcome.
You'll have good fun on the terrace, as that's where most of the noise comes from.
But I know that some of the other posters on here like to get onto the terrace quite early to secure a good spot.
I'm normally with te tartan rug brigade of coffin-dodgers up in the A&L, so we just sit in our seats and quietly look down at you!

Hello loopy lass and welcome :)
I'm a terrace-dweller, and we usually get to the ground before the gates open 2 hours before kickoff so we can get a place on the front barrier, although due to recent surgery I'm not able to attend until after Christmas.

Re: New users! Say hello, introduce yourself here.(new thread)
well, my first post was in the Leicester vs Leeds thread but as i'm a new user i thought i'd better wander over here and say Hi :)
i'd never really understood rugby, even when i had a few games at U11 where i was just told that if i got the ball i had to run forwards and only throw it behind me, so when my girlfriend fell pregnant and we moved to Leicester to be closer to her family i wasn't too impressed that her family were all avid Tigers fans.
We got tickets for the Munster game pre-season so i found myself at Welford Road, happy to be out of the house as we don't really know anyone locally so don't get out much.... I understood nothing about the rules, and i still don't really but i thoroughly enjoyed myself and we won to boot
so this is me saying HI
looking forward to the next match i get a chance to go to :)

Welcome LaverD and I hope you continue to enjoy rugby :)
You'll always find someone on here willing to explain rules and why certain things were wrong/right - how expert they are I really can't say

Helloooooooooooooo Nurse !
I'm the dad of a rugby-mad family from Dudley ! My boy plays for U13s Dudley-Kingswinford and my Missus is just as crazed a rugby fan as I am.
Been a Tigers fan since my old team, Warley ,visited a coaching day at Welford road in the early eighties.
Now my lad loves live games so this year has been a renaissance of my Welford road trips. Cat stand is comfortable if a bit quiet, but great for families.
We come as often as we can afford ! Was at the Bath league game at Walkers last season, and the final at Twickenham, and so far this season did Newcastle and Leeds at home.
So thats about it, I'm glad to be here .

Good evening.
Have been a fan of the Tigers for a good many years but have never, until now, ventured onto this forum. Hope everyone is as friendly as they appear!
Managed to get tickets at the last minute for the game against Sale on 27th December which I am really looking forward. I have family over from Costa Rica so it will be their first experience of a live rugby match. I am sure the Tigers will rise to the occasion! x

*peers in cautiously*
Hello!
I spotted this thread and thought I would say hello.
I've always sort of half-followed rugby but started going to see the Tigers when I moved in with my season-ticket holding other half. Im originally from Newcastle (dont hate me please, Im nice, honest) and have watched the Falcons for years as my mum lives about 5 mins away from Kingston Park, but have now switched my affections to a better team (obviously!!!)
I only manage the odd match due to my job but I usually sit in the Cat stand somewhere near my other half - and I always throughly enjoy myself (especially when a certain Mr Ellis is playing - *cough* ) My next match will be Wasps on Saturday.
So well.... hello!
