....as we know it!
After 13 long years of incredible racing, superb coverage and some of the best motorsport commentary anywhere in the world, Eurosport has broadcast its last race this weekend at the end of the 2008 season.
This preceeds an exclusive agreement with the BBC from 2009 onwards, likely resulting in significantly poorer coverage, both with less action (including 125cc and 250cc races) shown live on terrestrial (though it may well be on the red button) tv, no coverage whatsoever of practice and, most importantly for the huge number of fans of theirs, no Toby Moody/Julian Ryder/Randy Mamola/Neil Spalding.
Infact, the only positive is that now we get Suzy Perry on a regular basis.
So, bike fans, vent away!
Surely the BBC have to get Eurosports commentary team across. Even Valentino things that Eurosport will be sorely missed (he's great friends with Toby Moody in particular) and his thoughts are echoed throughout the paddock!
