RIP Paul Newman

He died yesterday from cancer aged 83. I always admired him as an actor, understated performances, he never tried to be anything he wasn't and never bought into the "celebrity" issue, only using his high profile to raise money for his many charities.
Don't waste your time away thinking about yesterday's blues

they were interviewing people next to his star on Hollywood Boulevard the other week, surely that's a bit "too" hollywood? there was a wreath of flowers there.

Incidentally, Hollywood boulevard is almost a replica of Birkenhead, but with even less class!!
