No Bill

Post by madoqua »

I just wanted to record that if, due to recent events Bill W has gone away, I think it's a shame.

It's the vicious, personal abuse posters that I like to see go.

I'm sure some of you remember the vile stuff I endured a couple of years ago from OIL.

Bill is not like that.

I will miss Bill's informed and often witty contributions, warts and all.

The irony of it is that a lot of people who were calling for his head (not you, BJ) did so in a very vile and insulting way.

It is they that should leave the forum, and not Bill.

I've tried not to get involved in this, but if Bill has left because of this, all those who were harassing him should be ashamed. Bill has always been one of the friendlier posters on this forum, to me at least, and the same cannot be said of some of the posters calling for his head. It'll be a real shame if Bill leaves because of these people.

Bill was always nice to me, likewise I was with him, and I hope this break in his posting is a holiday!

It seems it was just a temporary break, as Bill has posted on the thread "Is Mr Johnson killing rugby ?" (or something like that), over on the rugby forum.
Our period of waiting is over - this is the time.
