Right, we have washboard, spoons and a desire to have a cockernee barrow-boy sing-song like we used to have in the Blitz wiv ver Queen Mavva, Gawd bless 'er. If we could just rustle up a tea-chest bass, we'd be larfin.

Don't mention pigeons!! I can handle the cooing, but the flapping and fighting (or mating?) at 5am is quite annoying really.

I'd like a BIG drink please - a nice cocktail would do.
Do you know, I had a cocktail when on holiday that was called an "Australian Evening" - anyone care to guess what was in it?

Was it a Sex on the Beach followed by a Punch chaser?

An Australian Evening would have to have Bundy rum in it. And lost of squashed mosquitoes. And possibly just a dash of possum wazz.

Is that possum wazz with tonic or soda?

Whichever makes it taste less like possum wazz, I should think.

In that case, Campari.

Campari & Possum Wazz - it does have a certain ring to it.

On seeing the name of the cocktail, I decided I had to investigate, as we thought an "Australian Evening" would consist of two tinnies of Fosters with a garnish of BBQ prawns.

In actual fact it was a rather over-sweet mix of Baileys, Kahlua, creme de cacao and lime. Garnished with a flake.

That is the best sounding cocktail I've ever heard. I drink Baileys by the pint as it is, I had NEVER thought of putting a flake in it. Brilliant!
