What's the point qualifying if it's to see the Germans win ? England made some sense and stayed home while France fell flat on their nose.
Now you've got the Gerries as hot favourites along with the Dutch that are just another kind of Gerries. That smells of the seventies !

We English (and Scottish and Irish and Welsh) knew all along that it was a Mickey Mouse tournament we're best out of.
The sooner we have a football Six Nations the better.
At least England and France could battle it out for second place behind Italy every year.

this may be heresy on a rugby message board, but I've found it exciting and with some superb play.
but I have this awful feeling that we could land up with an Axis, Germany Italy final.
oh please, no! come in Turkey, Spain and, if necesary, Russia.

Turkey are a massive 7/1 against beating Germany over the 90 minutes. I'm not sure if they should be written off quite so easily.
