Can't get him out....

Post by Dibble »

Well my baby boy should've arrived yesterday but instead decided he was going to annoy my wife by staying put. It already looks like he's going to be a bit of a monster (my fault, I was 10lb 8oz!) and the longer he's in there the bigger he'll get so any suggestions to get him moving?

I have always been told (don't know if it is a wives tale) that plenty of love making gets the whole thing started.

I am being serious...apparently there is something in the male secretion that helps to kick start it.

While that idea is appealing, unfortunately by the time she's got into bed and got comfortable she needs to get up to go to the loo. That cycle pretty much runs all night. Broken sleep patterns when the baby arrives? Already got them.

Happened for us with our second. I'll spare the details, but within an hour we were off to the Leicester General.

Apparently walking or a curry can get things moving.

P.S. Good luck when he arrives. :smt001

So a walk to the curry house and a bunk up in an alleyway on the way back? Magic! :smt003

Thanks!

Yes, I was making love when ours started to arrive, so I had to get dressed quick and rush home to get the wife down to the hospital.

I think releasing a 'toxic otter' would be slightly easier for her...although I'd definitely avoid being at the business end when it all kicks off!

My friend rearranged the furniture in her living room several times, then jumped from the third stair up about ten times.

I heard that a curry does the trick. My first was 3 weeks late - I think he wanted to arrive in time for Derby Day (bit like his grandmother).

On both occasions when my two arrived Wales were being beaten at the rugby........
