I had a Border Collie who did that.
Eventually he'd pick the ball up himself (in his mouth), throw it and then chase it.
Kicks and scrums and ruck and roll.....Is all my brain and body need!

Ridiculous looking mutt called Max who has to walk sideways as his legs are too long. He is black, covered in tight curls and has non-matching ears. But we love him.

Man 1: I've just bought a cat.
Man 2: Is it a tom?
Man 1: No. It's outside in the van.

I used to have a Wolfhound when I still lived in Kinoulton.
Smashing dog. Complete idiot, could clear a coffee table with one sweep of its tale, and could give Gate a run for his money in the Flatulence Stakes.
One of his farts cleared the pub once.

Yes indeed Kinny
To all of the above, but 'one sweep of his tail' would be easier to cope with - just that
one never happens
Doesn't seem to realise just how big he is and often gets stuck in places he shouldn't have been in the first place!
He has developed a great 'reverse gear' over the years.
As a younger boy he used to think - if stuck, just keep going forward with more vigour!
Best child friendly dog ever, so placid, with nothing to prove

I have a tiger. He's red, and I think he comes from Liverpool.
Sometimes he'll go missing for weeks and weeks and then he comes back.
