Humm, not really. Probably have Hull and Essex as my first choice, unless i go for Oxford (Presuming my lit mark is and A when remarked) with nottingham as my 3rd chocie and Sheffeild and Leicter as my backups.

nope off to bed in an attempt to make up for lost sleep last night and then down the pub!!
I know we've had this conversation before, but I'm talking about this generally now - why are there still so many poor teachers about? I come across this with primary school science particularly, but your group seems to have had a really bad one. I know Chem is not an easy subject, but with a good teacher it can be an enjoyable one (as is Physics and Maths). Anyway, good luck in the A2 year! I'm not sure, but we have brought it to the attention of our head of sixth form and head teacher, so hopefully next years chemistry students may have a better chance than us, but it has definetly put me off chemistry for live

Odd isn't it, maybe becuase certain schools (like ours) snaffle all the best ones. eg, we've just lost our head of chemistry who had a PHD in it from leeds and replaced him with one with a PHD from oxford :o

But remember - just because he/she has a PHD (from anywhere) doesn't make him/her a good teacher!

I just thank God that it's all a fading, distant memory!
