Big brother state getting worse
well our worst dreams are coming true slowly
here in wales the majority of moderates has fought home rule and the fear of mega socialism civil service police state for many yrs, now it's being forced on us
yesterday we heard a court case of how the cctv 9we have more per person than any nation on earth) has been abused for yrs at THE WELSH ASSEMBLY ITSELF. By its security staff. where else will it be abused.
there was a show on beeb very late last night 1am (why so late for something so vital?) it was horrifying. we have 4 million cameras in UK thats camera per 14 people. almost all big brother intrusions are backed by a vast commons majority.
3000 new petty laws most being misused. a 79 yr old guy man handled by 3 huge bouncers for shouting nonsense at a labour event? he was cautioned and held under the terrorist act?
meanwhile google shares all searches with the govt? unlike all other search engines they are above the law. google searches have been used to prosecute many people already. anyone can be stitched up anytime.
back in wales we have the radicals taking over with the socialists after 2 months of farcical mostly unwanted attention seeking pedants at the assembly. the sad thing is these civil servants are sup[posed to regulate the corporate companies, but they dont do this they regulate us the individuals. try starting a business on a welsh shopping centre? unpayable rates doubled in 3 yrs? insane. farmers forced to sell their products at miniscule prices to the mass supermarkets?
today the profound western mail runs a story of how councillors have taken offence on behalf of wales about russell brand making fun of tremorfa. how dare a comic make fun of anything or anyone? then the same people preach on freedom of speech. these are the worst kinds of people, attention seeking hypocrites who'll use anything to climb the greasy pole. meanwhile parliament and blair preaches on democrcay and freedom a=of speech and does the oppsite by banning it within a mile of the parliament
everyone is filmed 300 times per day on average? 300?
In middlesborough they have cctv that talkss to pedestrians. many reports already of it being abused. but who cares its now being set up in 20 other cities? when did they ask us for our opinion? middlesborough councillors though said the public wanted it and saw it as a great thing?
No danger of it being abiused in a an over burocratic nightmare?
In merseyside they have flying cctv cameras that look like mini alien helicopters. an mp said on question time this is the obvious way to catch criminals? scarily no one suggestion something radical like, police on the street? insane
maybe this is why certain issues like abuse are being overhyped when the figures are way down?
maybe we need a constitution to limit the powers of our govt before its too late that way the US limits its govt's powers or the new magna carta?
meanwhile all mps voted majority to have their various communications kept hidden unlike the rest of us where all our info is available to all and sundry
Its like an episode of yes minister without the laughs. I think people in Uk are more worried about intrusion of their rights that terrorism and Id suggets more people are affected by this.
the ONLy way a society really improves and gets healthier is to allow th eindividuals to grow and prosper from the grass roots up. in terms of the civil servive Id suggets less is more
meanwhile we have 60% european laws no
that leaves british laws
different laws in ireland and scotland and if we get a parliament then we will have seperate welsh and english laws, in 2 languages. nightmare
as for global warming and reducing car emissions. how can they preach this and then take all the businesses out of town which means we all need transport to tget there? this has happened in every town in UK? its total contradiction and NO ONE ever mentions it
look out for this show you have to see it
1:40 am on bbc 3 it may be repeated
happy dayz

With over 4 million CCTV cameras monitoring our every move, journalist and troublemaker Sam Delaney sets out to prove that Britain is becoming a Big Brother nation. Some strong language. [S]

CCTV cameras help to prosecute people who commit crimes, whats wrong with that. How often are you aware a CCTV camera is around, very rarely. Do you think that every time you walk down the street they are watching you, NO, of course they're not. the people who operate them are highly trained and no what they are looking for, they monitor people who are acting suspiciously. People who are just walking down the street are ignored so why is it such a problem?

I don't mind having CCTV on our streets.
Did anyone see that program with Jamie Theakston as narrator on the BBC about CCTV it was a while ago now. It was really quite good and persuaded me that CCTV was good.

Millions of cameras means billions of hours of footage. Which means no one is ever going to watch it unless there is a horrible crime such as a street murder, abduction or terrorist act.
If anyone here thinks that someone in authority has time on their hands to watch their every move, then they must be seriously paranoid.
For Big Brother to watch us all would take a police force of 30 million very bored bobbies.

absolute rubbish
what chance has the indivdual against the state when it has 300 films of you a day, it has ability to use ALL your internet searches as evidence against you, possibly 3 months detention? 300 new laws in 10 yrs? the stop and search is coming in next for eevryone.
the list goes on
already abuses havebeen reported and that is all you will here for the nextdecade. the talking cctv's are now in 20 cities in UK. many times false charges have been made and incidents of staff singling out individuals unfairly for personal reasons, making false allegations and harassment. in the welsh assembly itself lastweek severlastaff were charged with spying on individuals and their properties? could this also be used for potential robberies/illicit affairs etc?
this is trivial compared to what thestate and the police can get coercedinto using it for. remember the tragic shooting of the braxziilian in london? there were mobile phone photos taken and the indiviudal who took them had her entire home ransacked in the middle of the night and umpteen belongingstaken. so we never got to see the truth nor never will
what happened to dr kelly? what happens to me if they read this post?
as for that embarasment when the Queen had atantrum. the footage was 100% legitimate. she said what she said she lost her rag and narched out. the part they claimed was re-edited was NOt re-edited , you can see and heraher in a temper. who marches in in a temper?
it was just more time and money at taz payers expense to coverup for the monarchy
these things are abused and because its against the individual you never get to hear about it. the state bullying the indivual is 1 of the most sickening forms of bullying on mother earth
