Professional Wrestling - the tale takes a twist...

Post by kornboy130 »

Vince Mcmahon is "dead" after (quite drmatically) his limosuine exploded - handily followed by several persuing WWE cameras.
never ceases to amaze me what people will believe.

"presumed dead"

"not recovered the body"

"possibly incinerated in the inferno"

I agree kornboy, the sad thing is that some people are gullible enough to genuinely believe this, even though the only "news" it has made is on the WWE website.

I'm surprised Reuters haven't picked up on this major news story of an exploding limo containing such an important character in the world of American sports.

It's almost as if it's not real... ;o)

I've just read that article and I have to say that I think the whole thing is really sick. I know the WWE make millions probably billions from conning people but that's a step too far IMHO. I think trivialising death is a step too far. :ox

Yeah, of course it's not real.

Not like Coronation Street and Eastenders. :oD

Could Wrestling remain a show of (false) fighting and stop? I really loved it 20 years ago, when i was a boy, the Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant times. I knew it was only a show, but i liked it.
Now i don't follow it anymore, but sometimes i see something on SKY when i wait for rugby matches. And i don't like at all the show as it is now. It became all too extreme (ECW first), and nothing is real, but kids (and older Americans only, i presume) can believe it is real, bringing serious emulation problems.
Mr. Mac Mahon, instead of joking about his death, could bring his show back to the origins. Wrestling, and stop.

About one quarter of all Americans believe they have been abducted by aliens at some point.

So for them to believe that wrestling is for real is natural.

whats the bet he comes back at...Wrestle Mania? bet you could get good odds on that conjoined with the undertaker making it 16-0 win-loss at wrestlemania.

If we're talking US wrestling (when I used to watch it) then probably the undertaker.

If we're talking 'proper' wrestling Pat Roach, Marty Jones and Johnny Saint. Rollerball Rocco was also very entertaining. :oD

Pat "Bomber" Roach & Shirley "Big Daddy" Crabtree.

Gone are the days of Jimmy Saville being a wrestler & guys from Stoke called "Kendo Nagasaki"!
