Having finished watching another thrilling series on Sunday, just wondering if anyone else is as hooked as me and what you thought of series 6?

the series is so melodramatic its untrue - why does nobody ever sleep, go to the loo or have a bite to eat?

having said that, i'm hooked too, watched all six start to finish so far! and i'll be watching day 7 when that arrives ( i think sutherland has committed to another 2 series)

plus that nadia is a total babe.

Loved it. There are some bits that are funny though, mainly Chloe's facial expressions which have me rolling.

I love 24 - the best show on TV.

I've been hooked since series one and am dead chuffed that there'll be more coming. With each new series, I fear it will lose its edge, but it never has. The writers are pretty brave in being prepared to kill off major characters - David Palmer, Tony, Michelle, Edgar etc.

Already looking forward to series 7.

I agree. I don't know how the writers keep on churning out such high quality stuff. Will be interesting to see if they can pull it off in the upcoming movie.

It is the best show on TV but this was the worst series by a long way. Too many loose ends such as what happened to Logan? Will Palmer pull through? What happened to his sister and the guy that was in the detention facility?

Even the writers addmitted they could have done better this series.

As for the eat and toilet part, they are like everyone else and go in the ad breaks ;o)

A few classic 24 phrases:

'Patch me through to Bill'
'I'll need full satellite coverage'
'Send it to my PDA'
'I'm doing it!!!'(Chloe)
'OK Jack, we'll do it your way, but this is all off the record'
'I'm aware of how much this country owes Jack Bauer' (various presidents)
'Damn it!'(the closest Jack is allowed to get to swearing)

Don't forget: 'I give you my word' (most people Jack meets!)

I think you will find Sky are the ones to blame for being too greedy and trying to charge too much. They wanted over double the last deal for channels that mainly show repeats with the odd good program. If it wasnt for 24 i'd never watch sky one

I would agree it is farly melodramatic but yeh i love it, i have season 1-5 on box set and intend to watch them through in time to watch 6 again just before 7 starts next year. Sad yes i know.

Although your point about not sleeping, in all fairness i bet there are times when our security services get none or very very little sleep in 24, 48, 72 hours at a time when major incidents are happening, we just aren't aware of it, so i think that is probably fairly close to the truth as im sure when major incidents/operations happen there is no time to sleep!
