Wow. All these references to knitting and sewing.

You Mothers are clearly a force to be reckoned with.

If you are going to congregate outside my house, will you at least try to park in straight lines? I've got the lads coming round for a beer and poker night tonight, and I don't want Mrs Kin to have any problem getting here with the take away pizzas.

Oh we've recruited Mrs Kin. Haven't you noticed copies of Prima and bags of lace stuffed down the side of her chair. It's net curtains for you Kinny sweetheart.

ho ho he he - what a great start to Monday
Kinny 1 The Mothers 5
well and truly thrashed

I've just been looking for my knitting needles so that I can join you but must've sent them to a school fair along with the Dr Who scarf and stripey tank top, I should've listened to my mum and practised more.

So I didn't get my Brownies knitting badge but I can't be ace at everything can I?

This really is a Mothers' thread isn't it.

Knitting, sewing, muffins, cupcakes.....

If Mothers ruled the World there'd be no Arms Fairs. they'd select their weapons of mass destruction from a colour catalogue.

Look Cuban floozy is back, can we have g and t's in the break between 12 and 1.00. Can I still stage all out war in the Queen Vic at Syston after 6.00 every Friday and Saturday. Is it ok to wander the fields shoeless and legless with Syd the maniac jack russell who causes vengence on the rampant rabbit brigade and havoc on the bullocks. But finally can I love my sons with a passion and kill any female under 30 that so much as looks at them.

If all these questions are answered with yes, then please accept me back into the wonderous fold but on one condition no Kin, Spud yes, but Kin - sorry all out war.

sincerely yours Karen xx

Why of course a resounding YES! The killing any girl that looks at sons is harsh but yet fair. Odd though, I'm advertising mine on ebay. :oD

Kin is very much not a Mother. We only have one male member, who we worry about quite a lot. I am knitting him a sweater as we speak.
