Reyes was good, but the lay off clearly hurt Detroit.

But now its 1-1.

I think this series will be close ....

Chris Carpenter....awesome !!! 8 superb innings pitched...2-1 Cards....I hope it goes to game 7....because I will be in Georgia that night and can watch it in the States !!

We've seen 3 beautifully pitched games so far, although the fun and games with Rogers and the 'dirt' on his hands in game 2 was also quite amusing.

I see Pudge got that most painful of injuries for a catcher in game 3. That must have hurt !

Momentum is clearly with the Cards ..... maybe it won't make game 7 !

Cards win it.....they deserve it after previous years !!! Hopefully the Red Sox can mount a sustained challenge next year....although we need some more pitching...have Schilling and Beckett but need more !!

Detroit give it to them gift wrapped. Cards deserved the win, but a new playoff record for consecutive games with errors (Tigers, that is) ? Give me a break !

Roll on next April. For info, NASN cover baseball more than any other sports, and you get the Magners thrown in as well ! (Setanta).
