Tigers v Toulon: Who's going?

Post by Kinoulton »

We're in the A&L.

Start as we mean to go on.

Who else is going? Any news on number of tickets sold?

I’m not too sure how many tickets have been sold but in the Leicester mercury (if anyone hasn't already brought their tickets) they are giving away £1 off vouchers until Thursday for the Toulon tickets. You can save up to five of vouchers giving you a total £5 discount off a ticket. So hopefully should be going! :D

we're going (self, Other Half, daughter and our mate) - don't think the rest of our gang are going though, due to holidays etc. We stand on the Terrace, usually on the 22 at the A&L end.

Not going

My daughter is staying with me this week for her summer holiday visit. We're going to be in Bristol visiting the inlaws to be.

Note to self: must not let other half organise visits, mini holidays or anything else for that matter which potentially clashes with a Tigers fixture.

I'll be there, may have ditched the crutches by then but still debating whether to stand on the terrace or get a seat as a one off while my ankle recovers.

Oh no! It'd be easier if it was a full first team game, but for a pre-season friendly, the capacity for righteous indignation/downright refusal to miss the match is somewhat reduced.

Hi everyone. I was wondering if there'd be on this forum (or another) a live update of the match or at least a nice summary of it with or without pictures. Being in France it's hard to keep up with friendly matches accross the channel and alot of Toulon fans would really enjoy to know how their team fared against such a great opponent as the Leicester Tigers.
If there's none, that's alright, but it sure would be lovely. Thanks for welcoming me briefly on your forum.
Cheers.

Thanks a lot BelperJon, it sounds really nice. I'll probably translate it roughly to my comrades.
