Question

Post by DCat »

OK, this one will probably be answered in about 5 minutes, but I need to ask it

Which animation film was it that ended with 'Celebration' by Kool and the Gang?

I have been arguing with my daughter all day about it (since the cricket started this morning, actually!)

No - I was sure it was Shrek, but Emma doesn't, which is where the argument started

I can remember a castle and celebrations before a wedding - which is why I'm pretty sure it wasn't Toy Story!

You're getting seriously mixed up here I think!

Kool and the Gang haven't sung Celebration on any animated film soundtracks.

Here's their soundtrack "history":
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1435477/

The soundtracks for Shrek, Shrek 2, Toy Story & Toy Story 2 can be found here
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0126029/soundtrack
here
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0298148/soundtrack
here
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114709/soundtrack
and here!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120363/soundtrack

Hope that helps!

I've just remembered! I think - Muppets in Space! they were on the beach singing the song!

Incidentally, what was your favourite Muppet - mine was Animal.

Yes, Celebration was used in that film, sung by "The Alien Gonzos"
