News from Headingley

Post by simon redshaw »

England won the toss and are batting first in the Third Test at Headingley.

After 1 one over, 0-0.

Lets hope that the wicket doesn't do as much first off as at Old Trafford and England can last the day out at least and post a good score.

Marcus Trescothick is out for 28. Andrew Strauss still there.

Tresco doesn't seem to be able to make any big scores in the Tests at the moment! :( :( :( :(

oh dear :(
Donncha O'Callaghan and Bruce Reihana are the best players that ever lived. Don't even bother to argue with me.

And - however good Imanol Harinordoquy is, he is still an idiot

Both Kevin Pietersen and Alistair Cook survived confident appeals for being caught and are still there. 110-2 the latest score.

Needs a couple of big scores.

347-6

Read 38.

Not too bad. hopefully Bell and KP can carry on for a while, and take us to a pretty nice total.
