yeah, well he's bowling, so surely he can't be too bad. i'm going to go and watch it now instead of looking at bbc updates which are probably about 1/2 an hour behind
Donncha O'Callaghan and Bruce Reihana are the best players that ever lived. Don't even bother to argue with me.

And - however good Imanol Harinordoquy is, he is still an idiot

161-5. :D :D :D :D

Monty has taken all three wickets since lunch. The big three of Younis, Yousef and Inzy have now gone.

Pakistan are still 181 runs behind.

Pakistan 222.

Harmy and Monty took 5 wickets each.

They were the only England bowlers to take wickets in the match.

England win by an innings and 120 runs. Excellent! :D :D :D :D

All that on a Saturday! Should be a day of rest! Well it is mostly for me!

England played very well in the Test. The spirit that was there for the Ashes is back and if its still there for Headingley then I think we can wrap up the series. Pakistan will come back but I think the Headingley will give us a chance. Up to the team to produce another good performance.

Geraint Jones may possibly miss the Test. If he does then I am sure Chris Read will be selected. It may be worthwhile giving Read a chance anyway for a couple of Tests. You would then know who was the better wicketkeeper batsman. You would be able to put this nagging issue to bed then.
